Julian Assange and digital ethics
We had a fascinating discussion, exploring everything from her days spent in the Underground Hacking scene in Melbourne where Julian Assange was a key figure at the time; the critical uses of innovative technological protections in the activist, journalist and legal communities in countries where few protections exist and grave outcomes for dissent or opposing views are a part of everyday life; and how technology and information for patients in medical care can improve lives!
Step into the world of someone who has tirelessly fought with people on the fringe of society to ensure the technological protections we hold dear, even if the average citizen doesn’t know they exist in the first place, are protected and promoted.

Note: as with many technological adventures, we enjoyed internet dropouts and the joys of resonance and echo, but there is plenty of great content (hence why we split it in two) so please enjoy and look forward to the next installment!
The Secure in Mind project
Our mission is to greatly increase and encourage community discussion about technological and ethical issues that have done, are and will impact society on a global scale.
There is a longstanding and distinct disconnect between the way information is packaged and presented to the public and the effectiveness of this presentation in terms of generating informed, considered debate.
If we can take complex, important topics and present them, as best we can, in a manner that can interests people from outside the speciality, then we have surpassed our expectations.
